ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER, DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Position Summary:
In alignment with broader company strategies, the Associate Product Manager, Data Management Systems, supports the Cardiopulmonary (CP) Global Marketing Director to develop and implement global marketing strategies and tactics to help LivaNova drive and expand the adoption of its CP Data Management Systems, worldwide. He/she becomes the global product expert of his/her portfolio of solutions.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze competitor information on global basis, tracks sales and pricing for LN products in key markets.
  • Collects continuous feedback on LivaNova technology from current users with direct reference contacts and through the Sales organization
  • Translates customer needs and problems into product upgrade or new product development
  • Defines the marketing and user requirements and specifications for new product/therapies
  • Supports preparation of global launch plans and monitors execution
  • Develops marketing collaterals, customer presentations & training material on his/her products
  • Develops sales manuals and training programs for relevant functions in the organization (i.e. regional MKTG, sales, ...)
  • Develops relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and product champions in key markets
  • Work in close collaboration with Medical Affairs team to help develop clinical evidence to support and fasten clinical adoption in key target markets/regions
  • Works with QA Departments to monitor perceived quality of products lines and support QA teams in challenging investigations

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required:

  • English Fluent both verbal and written
  • French, German, Spanish will be a plus
  • Depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Good public speaking experience and excellent written presentation abilitiesStrong technical scientific background
  • Ability to maintain high level conversations with customers
  • Visionary and self driven
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Ability to influence stakeholders

Education:
Master's Degree in Scientific Disciplines
Preference for Information Technology Engineering with a Biomedical direction or viceversa Biomedical Engineering with an Information Technology direction

Experience:
Preferably, but not mandatory, 1-2 years of experience in the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry, where he/she has preferably already covered similar roles (including R&D or clinical roles), with following specific key requirements:

  • Strong IT and software background and knowhow
  • Knowledge of integrated network environments (EMR solutions, integrated networks, ...)
  • Strong interest for clinical field and application of software solutions
  • Teamwork and ability to interact within a complex network of connections and players located in different locations
  • Interpersonal skills to manage interaction with sales, customers & reference clinicians/KOLs
  • Availability to frequent travels in EU and Global Basis
